The Dam Jam Rules

  • Attend at your own risk.

    • No liability is assumed by owners, managers, officers, agents, employees, promoters, sponsors, or any other individual associated with the event.
  • The Dam Jam reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • The Dam Jam is not responsible for lost or stolen items, personal injury, or damage to personal property.
  • The Dam Jam will be held rain or shine.
  • No drones, lasers or fireworks are allowed.
  • No glass bottles allowed.
  • Any violators of the law may be subject to arrest.
  • No weapons of any kind.
  • No illegal substances.
  • Persons engaging in violent, obscene, or unruly behavior will be immediately ejected from the concert site, campgrounds, or parking lots and may be subject to arrest.
  • There will be zero tolerance of underage drinking during the festival, including the campgrounds.
  • No party will be allowed to reproduce, print, sell, promote, give-a-way, or solicit any items or property that bear the names or logos of The Dam Jam and/or the entertainers in whole or in part.
  • All sales are final.

    • No refunds or exchanges unless the protection plan was purchased with ticket or merchandise sales.
    • No refunds will be given for tickets or camping permits.
  • Vehicles/Parking

    • Any vehicles found without proper parking credentials will be subject to tow at the owner’s expense.
    • Due to heightened security concerns; all vehicles are subject to search.
    • No semi-trailers or box type trucks allowed.
    • No tailgating in parking lots.
  • Vendors/Food

    • No food or beverages may be brought into the concert area.
    • No unauthorized vending will be allowed.
    • For health and quality reasons, please refrain from buying from unauthorized vendors.
  • Pets

    • Are allowed in pet-friendly camping areas only.
    • No pets in concert area unless a licensed service dog.
    • No pets are allowed in Sunnyside Primitive tent camping area.
    • In the pet-friendly camping areas, the following need to apply:
      • Pets should be well-behaved, non-aggressive and not intimidated or stressed in large crowds or by loud noises.
      • Pets must be on a leash at all times.
      • Owners must clean up after their pets.
  • Camping

    • A full event ticket is required to purchase a camping pass.
    • Noise curfew
      • In effect after concerts, 3 a.m. Some campgrounds may have an enforced quiet time and information will be available on our Camping page.
  • Concerts

    • Lawn chairs are welcome in designated areas.
    • Umbrellas are also allowed in between artists so as to not obstruct the view for others during performances.
    • No professional photography equipment unless media credentials are present.
    • Clear bag policy.
      1. Only clear bags will be allowed during concerts.
      2. Clear bags speed up the entry process, improve security, and allow staff to check personal items without having to touch or open bag.
      3. Permitted bags:
        • Must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 14″ x 6″ x 14″
        • No hardware or decorations conceal the bag.
        • Logo is only allowed on one side of the bag.
      4. An exception will be made for medically necessary bags or equipment after proper inspection and have been tagged by security.

  • Photography/Filming

    By attending The Dam Jam, you acknowledge and agree that:

    • You may be photographed or filmed during the festival. This can include, but is not limited to, live performances, audience areas, camping sites, and any other festival activities.
    • The Dam Jam, its affiliates, or authorized third parties have the right to use any photographs or footage in which you appear for promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising, marketing, and any other public or commercial purposes.
    • You understand that you will not be entitled to any compensation for the use of your likeness or image in any promotional materials.
    • While we reserve the right to use images or footage for promotional purposes, we are committed to respecting your privacy. Any use of such materials will be done with the utmost respect and consideration for all our festival attendees.

  • COVID-19
    We are committed to ensuring the continuity of our music festival. We understand the importance of these events to our community and are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

    • Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, we affirm that our festival will proceed as scheduled. We have adapted our planning and operations to comply with all health guidelines, ensuring a resilient and safe environment for our attendees, artists, and staff.
    • Should COVID-19 restrictions or advisories impact the festival, we are prepared to implement necessary adjustments. This may include changes to venue layout, enhanced health and safety measures, or the incorporation of virtual elements to ensure compliance with public health directives.
    • While we are committed to delivering a seamless festival experience, we recognize the unpredictable nature of the pandemic. We will not be held liable for indirect impacts on the festival due to COVID-19. We urge our patrons to stay informed and adhere to recommended health practices.
    • We pledge to keep all stakeholders informed with regular updates as the situation evolves. We welcome any questions or concerns regarding our festival’s approach to managing COVID-19 challenges.
